Suddenly when I am getting a call there is no ring tone. All the tones are there under settings, but the phone doesn't ring. Compared it to another phone in my household, and the settings are identical. Also, re-started the phone, but the problem is the same. Any ideas?

Is the ring/silent switch (left side of phone) set to silent (red showing)?
Do you have Do Not Disturb activated in Settings?

Thanks! I am an idiot forgetting it... Actually this happened before too, then I decided to put a sticky tape over in order not to switch it on by accident. I didn't check it, as I assumed that it can't move. How wrong I was... It seems however that in spite of the 'protection' the switch did move... Thanks again!
