I need help uninstalling DivX, I thought I had uninstalled it and can't find it anywhere on my computer, but I constantly get Software Updates for it.

I am trying to Confirm that I have successfully uninstalled DivX on my Macbook Pro. I can not find DivX anywhere on my computer, but I still get Software Updates CONSTANTLY to update DivX Converter, DivX Player, and DivX Web Player. If I have uninstalled DivX then why do I still get these Software Updates? How do I confirm I have uninstalled DivX?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2010), OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

How did you try to uninstall? There is an uninstall built into the app.https://forums.divx.com/divx/topics/divx_update_notifications_still_appearing_on _mac_after_uninstalling

What you saw at the bottom ,the sudo, was for using terminal to remove the files The easiest way for you is download and reinstall it, then use the uninstall that is in the program.
