Hard Drive not showing up - Mac Book Pro

I was working with my Hard Drive on my Mac Book Pro and it was showing in my Finder and on my Desktop. I closed down my Mac but it could not eject the hard drive for some reason. After numerous attempts I had to force the eject. Since then my Hard Drive hasn't show up in finder or on my desktop at all. This is hugely concerning because I have A LOT of important work on there that I need to access!

When I go into Disc Utilities it shows up, but when I click on it the below bit (Untitled) is greyed out. I've attached a picture to explain it - I have also added a working Hard Drive below it where you can see it shows up fine below (RAF Sponsorship). I have clicked on the FIrst Aid button but it seems to have done

nothing.

I am concerned I've lost a ton of work so any help is greatly appreciated!

If you select the Untitled volume and then on the Mount item in the toolbar does the volume then mount and become visible? Also, it would help to see another pic but with the Untitled volume selected.

But that's the problem. The 'Untitled' bit is greyed out so you can't select it.

Have you tried? It should be selectable in Disk Utility.

Yes, I've tried. The untitled bit is greyed out. You cannot select it. That is what I am saying. You cannot select it.

I've just plugged my HD in again this morning and I can now select the Untitled section! This is what it looks like

The disk shows that it is full which hardly makes sense. Are you able to view your files? If not, then it would appear the disk is corrupted. Click on the Erase button in the toolbar.
