I am trying to watch an HD movie from my Xbox one account on my 2014 Macbook pro and i keep getting this error message:
To watch in HD, disconnect any displays or other devices that aren’t compliant with HDCP rights management, then try again.
(0x20006030)
I would like to know if this can be remedied. Any help or info is much appreciated.

Are you doing this connected to an HD TV? It may be picking up the laptop monitor first ,which is not HD. My mac books native resolution is 2560x1600 and is retina. I thought that was HD or is HD something totally different?

You know in searching that, I cannot get a definitive answer. apple stops short of calling it HD. But says you can connect to an HD TV and run movies in HD.
