Can't send/receive emails from Apple Mail.

My Comcast email no longer works in Apple Mail on my iMac. How do I change the email settings to the IMAP account type instead of POP? I have OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 on my iMac. Spoke to a Comcast Tech this morning who said I must contact Apple to change the settings.

This didn't work. When I held down the option key, nothing changed. The only choice is "continue" . It won't let me set up another email account. The only choice I have is "Continue" and when I hit that, it says "This account already exits." I guess i'm going to have to keep my appt. with the Genius Bar. I'm using OS X El Capitan 10.11.3. Is that why it won't work?
