Why does screen go blank in middle of game

wwhen playing some of my casino games in particular Gold Fish Slots, all of a sudden the screen turns white and I loose the game and have to restart and unfortunately loose the bonus and money as well. is it my iPad or the game, it also happens to my husband on his IPad mini and we don't play the same games. I checked the Internet and it says I am connected so it isn't do to loss of Internet.

ANyone else have similar problem and is there a solution.
