iMac screen won't turn on - memory related?

Hey everybody -

I just put four new OWC 8GB memory cards in my weeks old 2015 iMac 5k retina and when I turn it on, everything sounds like it's booting up, but the screen doesn't come on. If I remove the top card, the screen comes on and the machine works fine. If I put a card in the top slot and remove another card, the screen won't turn on.

So - is there something about that top slot that's buggy? Is this common? Am I lame?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Could be. What happens when you replace the top two slots with the modules you removed to see if it works then. If not it's possible a pin is bent in the slot or the module wasn't pushed in hard enough to click into place.
