I have an apple itunes gift card. I went to itunes to purchase music. I probably did this backwards but I redeemed my code and it is showing up in my account but when I went to try and purchase music it defaults to the credit card I have on file. How do I use the money in my account?
What happens when you try to buy music, are you going through with the purchase and it charges your credit card, or are you only being prompted to confirm the card's details ? A credit card should only be charged if you are the family organiser in family sharing, are gifting music, or if your balance doesn't cover the price (plus any applicable taxes) of the item (in which case only what your balance doesn't cover should be charged to the card)
