Can't access playlists in music app

Hello there,

I have an iPod touch with iOS 9.2.1 and since the new update I just can't go to my playlists anymore. Every time I click on it the music app crashes. I tried closing all apps before going there but that didn't help. Soft reset also did nothing. I'm at a loss as to what to do, and it's really bugging me.

Has anyone knows a solution here? Google also was no help.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Unsync/delete all music and resync

To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Having the same problems on my iphone 5s

Tapping on playlist crashes the music app and a hard reset doesnt fix the problem

I also have the problem with the camera, where the camera freezes on the 'photo' option, but works instantly with every other option.

I have to switch between 'video' and 'photo' twice before the 'photo' option works.

I'm also pretty sure that if tapping on the 'playlist' tab was a hardware problem, that would mean there was something wrong with that part of the touchscreen, which obviously isnt the issue since I tap around there all day long and nothing else ever crashes.

It makes zero sense how how a software issue could be a hardware problem.
