Can I airplay video but not audio?

Can I airplay video but not audio? I want to watch the video on my big screen TV, but I want to hear the audio via headphones on my iPad/iPhone. I don't know how to do it. If it were possible, perhaps the audio and video would be out of synch? My TV inserts a delay in the signal. I could plug my headphones into the TV, but it is on the other side of the room.
