Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Hey everyone, just a small... not so much of an issue, more of an annoyance. I don't know what happened, but ever since a few days ago, whenever I go into fullscreen on any video, it goes fullscreen on to a new desktop, instead of staying on the one desktop and going to normal fullscreen. I hope you understand what I mean by this, and I hope you know how to help. Thanks in advance!

Have you assigned the app that is showing you the videos to a particular desktop. check by
pressing the control button whilst clicking on the apps icon in the dock
then place the cursor on the options menu item.

It does this on any browser. It only does it when I try to go fullscreen on a video. I tested it on 4 browsers now.

FWIW, I don't get that menu in OSX 10.11.3.
Yeah, I don't like the new version of Mac OS.
Maybe. open System Preferences>Mission Control and see what's checked.
Try enabling "Automatically rearrange Spaces…"

The only difference in my settings is the first setting is enabled as I suggested.

I enabled it but it still did it
See if setting "Open in new tab" in your browser preferences helps instead of "Open in new window". As far as your screenshots, I don't see anything running in full screen.

It does that and it is very annoying. It does it for every browser and not just Youtube either. I tried enabling the automatically whatever thing but it didn't work.
To be honest, I have no idea why you have the image in Desktop 1 and Desktop 3, or what that is, in the first screen shot and then the same image in Desktop 1, 2 and 3 in the second. I suspect you are using the wrong keyboard shortcut or the correct shortcut in the wrong place.
