I've tried Preferences, View, Window and everywhere but I cannot get the address bar to appear, would someone please tell me how to have an Address Bar as should be the normal situation?
This is what I've got!
I need it to be like this.
At the moment I'm having to use Firefox and if I cannot resolve this problem I will not use Safari at all I'll just use Firefox!
iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)
Click "View" menu in the Safari menu bar and choose "Customize Toolbar".
Drag the default set under "or drag the default set into the toolbar" into the toolbar.
Click "Done".
... and if that approach doesn't work, does this behavior survive restarting Safari, or your computer?
Thank you for your reply and the info. which I followed. What I hadn't understood was in how to use the 'Customize Toolbar'- until I worked out that it's a case of actually dragging the item/s into the space above the tabs.
Why is there NO Address Bar?
