elcapitan 10.11.3's airdrop does not see other devices (MBP 15")

Same trouble here. It had been working perfectly till a week ago, and when I tried airdrop and pairing bluetooth my i6s and mbp, did not work and doesn't work so far. I did most of thing to solve this with solutions I could find from the internet. All aren't working. I hope someone appears and solve this soon enough. Not sure this is because of the iOS upgrade or el capitan 10.11.3

i have the same problem here but... I have MBP15" mid 2015 and when i turn on my iPhone 6 Airdrop it detects my MBP15" but my MBP doesn't detect my iPhone 6 and neither other iDevices, and maybe mi iPhone 6 its damaged or something but I've restored it 2 times and nothing. My MBP also detects my Dad and sisters iPhones but not mine. i really need to fix this because i use Airdrop a LOT.

Same in my 2014 Macbook Pro. After updating to OSX 10.11.3 MAC don't see any Airdrop device, iPad and iPhone don't see Mac under Airdrop. Nothing I found on internet helped.

im having the same problem. i only have this problem between mac and iphone/ ipad. mac wont detect my phone/ipad. same goes for phone / ipad, they wont detect the mac. however i can successfully transfer between iphone and ipad without any issue at 0% failure rate.

Im using MBP 15" Mid 2015, iPhone 6s, iPad air 2.

what i have tried :

1. turn on and off bluetooth and wifi

2. set airdrop to everyone

3. reset my router

4. sign in and out from icloud

5. turn on and off icloud drive

6. restart both mac and iphone/ipad.

7. turn off firewall

8. delete the /Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist

tried all of the above but still the airdrop wont detect my device. however the handoff is working great. only airdrop is not working.

i have exactly the same problem. A new MacBook 12 inch with retina display with installed el capitan 10.11.3 and a new iPhone 6s and the airdrop is not working even though I've tried everything. I'm gonna call the support tomorrow and see if they have a solution to that.

I have the same issue. Airdrop does not provide the bottom line to filter everyone/contacts/nobody. Seems it is set to "nobody" and no way to change the filter.

I have MB 12 inch like you and iPhone 6, both with last update. Airdrop was working but suddenly stopped!

I tried all the solutions that I found in Support Communities but with no luck.

Please let me know if got any solution from apple support.
