Q: How to transfer album for viewing from mac to ipad.

Hi ... I'm trying to find a way of organising photos on my Mac, creating an album and then transferring that album for viewing to the ipad. However, I really don't want to go via the cloud to do this as I have a pathetically slow ADSL upload rate and a decent sized album can take ages. It there any way of using Photos to create an album on the mac and then sync it on demand to the ipad maybe by usb or wifi ?

I've been a Picasa user up to now but there is no easy way of transferring albums to the Ipad without going via the web. I've also dabbled recently with Google Photos which is very good but suffers from the same problem.

Maybe the answer is to move house and get a faster internet connection !

Hi RonBow2,
I understand you are looking for ways to organize and share pictures that are on your Mac with your iPad without using iCloud Photo Library. The resource below will give you some options. If you are using the Photos app, you can choose that application in iTunes and sync the selected albums that you wish. Or, if you have the pictures in a folder on your Mac, you can choose that folder to be synced in iTunes. You also have the option of exporting pictures from Photos into a folder on your Mac for this purpose.
