How do I erase my iPhone 5c that has a broken (black) screen?

I broke my iPhone 5c a while ago, I would like to erase the data off it before I can send it for repair.

Seems that I can't do it from iTunes because find my phone is turned on and from my iCloud either cause it's not connected to the internet anymore!

Please advise..

There is nothing you can do if you can neither input from the screen to use iTunes or if it is not connected to the Internet by either cellular nor wifi. If you had a screen lock passcode on it, then your data is encrypted and secure anyway. Nobody could extract it even if they disassemble the phone, not without the encryption key which is tied to your password (and/or fingerprint) and your phone's specific hardware.
