How can I listen to my music while in aircraft mode?

How can I listen to my music while in aircraft mode?

With all the new changes from Apple, I'm really confused about my music (for which I've probably paid thousands for dollars). It seems that if I don't have a wifi or cellular connection I can only listen to one or two songs on my iPhone. It appears that they have all been sent to the cloud (but I wouldn't swear to that). How can I hear all my music while I am away from any civilization or don't have a connection (like in AC mode)?

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

With your iPhone, press 'My Music' on the bottom bar in the Music app. This is where your music should be.

Close the music app and force close from the phone memory.
Put your phone in Airplane mode.
Open the music app.
When it opens, click on Songs with the cursor sign down
Choose last option, only downloaded music.
Close music app from home button.
Remove the airplane mode from the phone.
Reopen the music app, now it works fine, no more the Music Apple Logo.

Perhaps I can clarify Appleman. Yes, when I press my Music I see a lot (probably all) of my music... until I turn on Airplane mode, and then it all disappears except for one song. That is why I assumed it had all been sent to the cloud. Now answer my question.

Dillan,

I tried to follow your instructions (although I don't understand "force close from the phone memory") and it had no effect whatsoever. That one song (all by itself) remains whether in Airplane mode or not after the rest of your process. I'm sorry I'm so dense with this music thing.

I think dillan7736 means double press the home button and swipe the music app up. (Thus force closing the app).

I think I have resolved the issue. Since this iPhone was new, I had backed it up (and sync'ed it) over wifi. Today (just now) I did a hard sync from my desktop and I think the music transferred correctly (there's a lot less memory remaining). I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but I will.

You Have To Turn Your Phone On Airplane Mode Then Go To Music And Play A Song You Might Want To Put Earphones on to not disturb anyone on the aircraft!

I was actually more concerned about use on a cruise ship. Their wifi fees are horrendous!
