shared network resource named error

Running El Capitan 10.11.3 on early-2008 iMac. In Finder, I keep seeing a shared network resource named "error" in the Sidebar. Clicking More Info doesn't reveal anything useful; the More Info tab just stays stuck in fetching mode. Don't know if I can drag this into the Trash or not, as I'm hesitant to potentially "break" something I can't even identify as yet. Clicking on the share itself tells me the connection failed, and gives me the option to "Connect As..."

That's as good as I've been able to diagnose the issue up to this point. Looking for some guidance on how to dig deeper and find out what is actually being shared/connected to (if anything), and how to manage it better than just letting it sit there.

Thanks.
