Mediasite presentation choppy audio

I need help resolving choppy audio on a college presentation playback through Mediasite. My class uses Mediasite presentations for the online learning component of the class. The site previously worked flawlessly until this weekend. I am unsure of what changed, I made no adjustments to settings or anything else. Just studying as usual. My internet connection and speed are unchanged. I restarted the Macbook. Nothing worked.
