I have a Mac Mini late 2012 i7, I would buy a Dell U2414H. I read several discussions but I haven't found a solution. Does it work connected with miniDP (TB) - DP (U2414H)? The mac mini's display port is 1.2 version?

Yes, it will support a 2560 x 1600 resolution, higher than the Dell's rather low 1080p resolution (HDTV).
You should consider the Dell U2515H.

The(1920x1080) resolution of the U2414H is a little lowfor a 24" class monitor.

I'm with Lanny... a higher resolution monitor like the U2515H would be better for detailed desktop work.

Many thanks. You think by writing and reading many hours a day to work with Word, it's preferable to a higher resolution? The Dell U25 it seems too big for my needs.
Then maybe take a look at some higher end 22" class monitors that are 1200x1080 and/or at least compare then to the 24" Dell. Another thing to consider in your quest is, do you want a matte or glossy finish monitor...?
Personally I use dual matte finish 22" class monitors with my 2012 Mac Mini, because I find glossy displays hard on the old eye balls.
I have already used a Dell P2214H, but I don't know why it bothered me in the eyes, it caused me headaches even at low lumosità. I usually work on an iMac in 2006, was looking for an old cinema display but they all advised me not, too old. I also use a MB Pro 13, 2009. Now seeking a crisp display to work with texts, reading and writing. I'm writing as a profession. I prefer the matte, what do you recommend?
