Impact Resistant Case?

I'm looking for a top impact resistant case for my 6+. There are a zillion cases out there that claim they are, but what are the best ones? Can anyone recommend some? I would particularly like to find a case in a vibrant color. I'm forever putting my phone down in the house and forgetting where a put it. A bright color helps me find it.

The Lifeproof cases have reputation, are expensive, and have rather bland colors. When I looked at them on Amazon they got poor reviews for such an expensive case.

Finding the right case depends on if you want it to be bulky, rubbery, plastic, or slim. Life proof cases are fantastic for going to the beach or going swimming and all that but the rubbery stuff fades very quickly and starts to look not very nice. all of these cases are very protective against drops.

  • If you want a rubbery case i recommend the Griffin survivor. if you go on their website you can customize the cases to your liking.
  • If you want a bulky case then i would recommend the otter box defender or also the otter box commuter (which is not as bulky but still has the same amount of protection.) you can also customize these cases on their website.
  • Im not personally a fan of plastic cases but incipio makes very nice cases with lots of colors to choose from. speck also has very nice cases and losts of colors
  • For the slim cases which i like the most. Currently i have a Caseology Wavelength on my 6s. It protects against stops and the lips is raised so when sitting on the table the screen doesn't touch the table. on their website there are quite a few color combinations to choose from.

All of these cases can be found on amazon for cheap.

Thank you for your reply. I am leaning towards the Griffin for two reasons: 1) It looks like it provides very good shock protection; 2) Customizing the case on their website. That makes it cost more, but it's the only way to get a good case in a color I want.

I appreciate the help. Until your reply I did not know I could customize a case on Griffin's site.
