how can i get 7.00 update on my ipod4 that is now 6.1.6

is there anyway to do this update so I can get certain apps that require 7.00

iPod touch, iOS 6.1.6

The 4th gen iPod Touch can only be updated to iOS 6.1.6. See if you can download an older version of the app. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201377

Your only option is if it prompts you to download an earlier version. Unfortunately, that is not always an option. I still have my 3rd gen iPod Touch still but can pretty much only use it for music and web browsing. Most of the apps I had no longer work. Some older apps do still work, but others do not..
