2011 MacBook Pro 13inch exploded battery

2011 MacBook Pro 13inch, the battery has exploded causing damage to the aluminium uni-body next to the track pad and caused damage to the rear cover making it impossible to be re-fitted due to bending and the screws now being unable to be refitted.

have contacted support and they seem to be genuinely concerned escalating the issue through the various ranks of apple support, but am now just waiting for a response.

has anyone in the community has similar issues, if so what did apple do ?
