When using Pages, how do I enter page numbers, beginning with p. 2?
I'm trying to add pages to a document but not include page 1 as that is my cover page. I want to begin with page 2.

Insert your page number on your cover page. Click on page 2. Then from the Toolbar, click Documents, and the Section tab. Select Hide on first page of section, and match previous section. Your page number disappears on the cover page, and reappears on page 2 as page 2.

Thanks, Viking. I don't have a documents or section tab. Somehow I clicked that your comment was helpful and I appreciate it, but it didn't solve my issue b.c of not having those tabs. Any other suggestions?
What version of Pages (Pages menu : About Pages) are you using? My previous post would work with any release of Pages v5.
When you open a new document to a blank template, that blank page is actually a one-page section — in any version of Pages.
Thank you so much! I was looking at the top of the screen, rather than at the right, top corner. I made the changes. Thank you again!
