Just drive over one, it will be clear that the bulk of the bridge is made of ferrous oxide.

So you're unable to prove your point with any valid links, eh?

I said there was no need, and there isn't.

I won't deal with repair shops who don't have the correct parts available for what they are repairing. Wouldn't do it with one of my cars, or a phone. I expect repairs to be performed by competent shops, competent includes having the right parts for the repair. Not used parts stripped from another phone, new parts from Apple.

You described your ideal repair shop using new parts.  I'm still waiting to hear where they get those parts.

That is your problem, you don't have to, because i am not doing business with you.

Nah.  I'm not big on Philadelphia sports.  Thanks though.

From the manufacturers parts supply division, where else?

Please advise where is Apple's parts supply division and how does your company reach them?

This thread has turned surreal. Have I stumbled into a Dadaist play?

Philly needs to know where Apple Stores and repair depots get parts from, apparently he won't accept that they get their parts from where they should get them, Apple.

It's actually circular logic.  Reputable 3rd-party iPhone repair shops must use brand new parts from the manufacturer.  Apple is the manufacturer and they don't sell brand new parts to 3rd party repair shops.  Hmmm...

Please describe where YOUR ideal 3rd party repair shop obtains those parts.

Domestically iFixit is known for having pretty good parts, and they have amazing customer service if you get a bad part.  Check out their listing for iPhone 6 screens and see how it specifically warns you about the importance of transferring the home button.

    iCracked has good parts.

There are a few others, and we all develop a mixed supplier list for different parts.  Original quality parts directly from China through personal relationships developed where your quality demands can be understood clearly is another option.
