Garageband doesn't update

I've upgraded to El Capitan and Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and iMovie have updated. Garageband is still at 6.0.5. Is there any way to get it to update to 10.1?

The upgrade from GarageBand '11 to GarageBand 10 is not a free update, if you do not buy a new computer. It requires a Purchase.

First check your Purchases tab at the AppStore, if you qualified for a free upgrade, perhaps GarageBand is waiting for you. If not, purchase it from the AppStore: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/garageband/id682658836?mt=12

Before you upgrade, make a backup of your system, so you can restore the sound library if something should happen. Don't uninstall GarageBAnd '11, both versions can be used together. The y are very different, and you may want to use occasionally your current GarageBand version. Some features are missing in GarageBand 10.1, like podcasts or the ability to play samples using a sound effect instrument.
