Drummer Bug. Logic coppies a region to another track when just clicking the region

Try this

Add an electronic drummer track "leah"

Now add the default drummer track "kyle"

Now click on one of the regions in the kyle track

Watch that region move up to the "leah" track and paste it self there.

Is this a bug? Is this a feature? It sure feels like one of Logics many many bugs.

Pro app eh?

Sounds more like a user error.... or a misstep along the way...

I cannot reproduce this on any of my main or testbed systems here...

Following your steps exactly as you stated....

Try using licecap.. and make a quick animated gif of it occurring . like I did above..

Also which OS X / Logic version combo are you using?

I tested under OS X 10.10.5 and 10.11.3 along with Logic Pro X 10.2.1

Ok.. so now I can see your original description wasn't accurate... which based on your own description is why I believed it to be a user error... because I have done exactly what you described, many times without a problem..

However.. in your example...

The first drummer track actually isn't a drummer track..

So, I'm assuming....

You have either converted the auto generated Drummer tracks to midi and then edited/cut them up

(and the way you did that might explain this..)

or...

You created new midi tracks yourself using one of the producer kits..

Which is it?

Full and accurate details when describing an issue, are all important 🙂

Once I know this... I'll have to test that out and try and recreate it tomorrow as Im heading into the studio now...

Cheers..
