Battery Life iPod

My iPod had a major software update and now I have noticed that the battery isn't lasting as long as it use to. With nothing open and not connected to Wifi a battery charge would last 3 days now Im lucky if I can get a full 24 hours out of it. If Im using my iPod for music 4 to 5 hours. I don't know whats going on and Apple Care is no longer good. Anyone else going threw this issue or know how to fix it??

Thanks

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
