Movies in iTunes not staying downloaded.

Every time I buy a movie from iTunes I have to repeatedly download it from the cloud. It wouldn't stay in my iTunes if that makes sense? It's extremely frustrating because I go to watch a movie I've already downloaded only to find it's no longer saved in my iTunes!
