Hi,
I was studying computer architecture and desing at school, and the professor was talking about the virtual memory. I'm just wondering what is the virtual memory in my MacBook air. I just want to know if there is anyway how to find it out.

Activity Monitor > Memory tab
I think it may be labeled as swap, but that's that section to see how much activity is going on.
Do some research, see what you can find out.
I see that Swap used is 0 byte. Does it mean that there is no Virtual Memory ?
No!
Swap is just one of many types of virtual memory. And what you are seeing is no swap memory is used, not that no swap memory exists.
You have a lot of learning left to do. Do some reading and research, as chattphotos suggests.
