Does your iMac have a minidisplay port? Here are the requirements:

Thank you.. it does have a minidisplay port but unfortunately, my i-Mac is 21.5... so guessing that won't work?

If Apple does not include it, then there is no guessing. Perhaps that is a good excuse to purchase a new iMac? 🙂

Well.. I blew the budget on the MBP... the i-Mac's working ok, just be good to work on a bigger screen! Thanks for your help

Do not disregard non-Apple monitors. There are some at reasonable prices. Your 2015 MBP will support up to 3840 x 2160 resolution.
