iPad Air 2 takes a long time to reconnect to wifi router

Hello All!

After a reboot, my iPad Air 2 takes a long time to reconnect to a WiFi network. When I launch the Settings app to try to reconnect, it hangs and takes a long time to function again. Does anyone have the same issue?

Thanks.

Hi there Carlson Cabral,

It sounds like your iPad is having trouble reconnecting to Wi-Fi. I would quit the Settings app first:

Force an app to close in iOS

1. Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps.
2. Swipe left to find the app you want to close.
3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.

When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:

iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If it isn't resolved I would next forget the network, restart and join it again:

In iOS: Tap Settings > Wi-Fi > User uploaded file > Forget this network. Then try to rejoin.

User uploaded file

From: If you need help with your Wi-Fi password
