I recently noticed that when I add an event to my Iphone6 calendar that I can't set two different alerts. When I set the first alert it copies to the second alert or vice versa. I can't figure out what is causing this or how to stop it.

I recently noticed that when I add an event to the calendar in my iPhone 6 that I can't set two different alerts. When I set the first alert it copies to the second alert or vice versa so the time of the both alerts are always the same. Does anyone else have this problem. I can't figure out what is causing this or how to stop it.
