Hi, I have recently purchased a Macbook Mid 2009 and upgraded to EL Captain. Before the upgrade had no issues with the Battery (Its new) now the Mac will not even recognise the battery and will not charge. I have seen on some certain sites that the upgrade may have stopped third party batteries from charging. Have reset SMC and PRAM but to no avail....any help would be grateful.
