Hey everbody,
I just wanted to Sync my iPod with my Computer, so that my music library's up to date and I found out that Windows doesn't recognice my iPod any more.
I followed some Instructions on the web, including de- and reinstalling iTunes, but that didn't work either.
Does anyone have a clue what to do?

If y have a 5G or 6G iPod you need iTunes 12.3
First:
iTunes: Fix iPhone or iPod Not Detected in Windows 10
Try above for Win 8 too.

- I would start with
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later
- New cable and different USB port

thanks for the quick answer
I removed iTunes and all other parts of it from my computer in the given order, but it didn't work
I couldn't try the thing with "devices and printers" etc. because it doesn't show up anywhere there:/
also couldn't try to use an other computer or another cable
Anything else I could do?
What computer OS?
Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit
newest Updates of OS and iTunes are all installed
I was able to try with an original Apple Dock (30pin) to USB cable and it worked, so the cable was the problem 😟
