Help restoring ipad 2

My ipad locked up. The ipad said disabled, connect to itunes. I plugged my ipad into my laptop and opened itunes. I forced a restart and got to the recovery screen, but I did not get any options for restore or update. Now what do I do? I have a new ipad mini 2.

Use recovery mode as described here. You may have to try to enter recovery mode more than once to succeed.


Also, make sure your iTunes on your computer is current (12.3.2).

This thread is about restoring an iPad. If you have an issue with one of your passwords, find a thread about that topic by doing a search, or just submit a new question to start a new thread. When you do post, you need to provide detail - where are you trying to sign in? Password for what?
