Q: iphone5 no service 9.2.1

iphone 5 running IOS 9.2.1 just started getting No Service - over 3 days now.

Tried new Telstra SIM, iTunes Restore, Reset Network Settings.

Apple doesn't allow a restore to IOS 8.4

Wife has identical but told her not to upgrade to IOS 9 - might as well have one phone that works.

Is it time for a Galaxy?

iPhone 5, iOS 9.2.1

I too am having network connect issues with my VZ iPhone 5S after updating to iOS 9.2.1.

After the last debacle with iOS update problems - I now tend to wait about a month after an update so that Apple can work out the bugs to their iOS updates (i.e. beta testing on the world).

So, I waited...and then finally did my update to iOS 9.2.1.

Ever since, I'm getting a "SIM Failure" error message or "Invalid SIM" error message.

I've tried the resets, reboots, and reseating of the SIM recommendations but I still get the SIM error message a couple of times per day (been about a week).

After being offline for a week with No Service, Apple replaced my phone. Fingers crossed. Third phone in 7 months.

You got a NEW phone from Apple? Does your iPhone 5 have a valid warranty? How did you do that?
