Macbook pro connection issues?

Hi, I bought a Macbook pro 2014 model around 7 months ago refurbished off of the official Apple store. Everything is great with it, but every once in a while the wifi stops responding on it. It shows me as still connected, but it doesn't respond. I usually fix this by turning my wifi on and off but it really does get irritating when i'm Facetiming someone or watching a live stream and it happens 3 times in an hour. It's not my wifi, It happens at my friends houses as well as my workplace and school wifi. Has anyone had this problem? Thanks 😊
