Q: Can't add cards for Apple Pay to Watch

I tried to follow the online article to add Apple Pay functionality to my watch. However, within the watch app, navigating to "Wallet" only shows notifications to either "mirror my iphone" or "custom". There is no option to add card.

 

Both my phone and watch are running the latest OS and my watch has a passcode.

Apple Pay is presently available within Australia, Canada, the UK and the US. Unless your device is set to one of those regions, you will not see the option to add cards. You can also only add supported cards from participating banks or stores within those countries.

If you are in one of those countries, but don't see the option to add cards to Apple Pay, check the region settings on your devices:

 

To change the region on your iPhone, go to:

Settings > General > Language & Region > Region

 

For the watch, in the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, go to:

My Watch > General > Language & Region > Region Format

    Hi

     

    You are currently navigating to the Notifications setting for Apple Pay on your watch.

     

    In order to add cards to Apple Pay on your watch, instead:

     

    - On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > scroll down and tap on Wallet & Apple Pay.

    That's what I thought at first as well. However, I'm sure I'm in the actual menu.

     

    It's weird because it's only called "Wallet" instead of "Walled & Apple Pay". All the other apps have their settings working properly but when i choose "Wallet", the only thing that shows up is the notification settings.
