Can I connect my MacBook Air to my Mac Mini so that I can use the Mac Mini's display?

Hello all,

Can I connect my MacBook Air to my Mac Mini so that I can use the Mac Mini's display?

The Mac Mini is the late 2014 model with 2 thunderbolt ports and is connected to a mini display port monitor.

I'm just fed up with having to yank the cable off the Mac Mini to connect the MacBook Air.

Any ideas? Suggestions?

Many thanks in advance!
