Intel Iris drivers unresponsive
I have a early 2015 MacBook Pro with 16gigs of ram and the upgraded cpu (i7 5557U @ 3.10Ghz). After upgrading to El Capitan and updating bootcamp to 6.0 I then installed (Japanese) Windows 10 Pro through BootCamp for work (Visual Studio 2015). When using Windows 10 the display drivers will cut-out stating that they were unresponsive but successfully recovered. (pic in Japanese for reference). The cutting out will also be accompanied by a small pop sound occasionally.
One thing that seems off is the error states that it is Intel HD Graphics driver, is that different from the Iris 6100 series?
This is made much worse (to the point of being unusable) with a second monitor attached.
Things I have tried:
reinstall windows 10 (about three times, current try is using windows 10 pro (Japanese) 1511 update).
re-download/install BootCamp drivers from usb.
install Intel drivers (15.40.4.64.4256 as well as 15.40.4.64.4300).
other things of note:
Whenever this error appears there are information events from windows error reporting in the Event Viewer.
This has been extremely frustrating considering my coworkers all have MacBook Airs that have no issue with running bootcamp all day.
