Intel Iris drivers unresponsive

I have a early 2015 MacBook Pro with 16gigs of ram and the upgraded cpu (i7 5557U @ 3.10Ghz). After upgrading to El Capitan and updating bootcamp to 6.0 I then installed (Japanese) Windows 10 Pro through BootCamp for work (Visual Studio 2015). When using Windows 10 the display drivers will cut-out stating that they were unresponsive but successfully recovered. (pic in Japanese for reference). The cutting out will also be accompanied by a small pop sound occasionally.

One thing that seems off is the error states that it is Intel HD Graphics driver, is that different from the Iris 6100 series?

This is made much worse (to the point of being unusable) with a second monitor attached.

Things I have tried:

reinstall windows 10 (about three times, current try is using windows 10 pro (Japanese) 1511 update).

re-download/install BootCamp drivers from usb.

install Intel drivers (15.40.4.64.4256 as well as 15.40.4.64.4300).

other things of note:

Whenever this error appears there are information events from windows error reporting in the Event Viewer.

This has been extremely frustrating considering my coworkers all have MacBook Airs that have no issue with running bootcamp all day.

The issues are screen lagging/flickering occasionally to frequently with the mouse/keyboard becoming unresponsive and an error toast popping up with the initially posted message. This effect is worse and more frequent with multiple monitors or long use (more than 1 hr).

I did not create a system restore point before installing the drivers, but I did remove drivers before installing a new one. With that in mind, I reinstalled windows 10, disabled automatic updates, installed Boot Camp drivers from the temporary drive created by Boot Camp and restarted. Then I made a restore point (there was one created when the OS installed called Installed Boot Camp Services) After about 10 minutes the screen flashed black twice and the mouse became unresponsive while the error toast showed up again. The current installed version is 20.19.15.4331. looking at timestamps in the event log it looks like something was installed after connecting to the internet (before system time was synced with time zone).

I'm not quite sure how useful this information is, but I think it is kind of odd that after connecting to the internet they were updated.

Should I try to install the provided link?

Are there any other diagnostics I could run to figure out what is happening?

What were/are the issues with the Apple-provided BC6 Intel drivers? Do you create a System Restore point after each Driver Upgrade? If the previous driver is not removed cleanly, you may see issues with drivers.
