Command R does nothing
Hi larztallica,
What version of OS are you running?
Also, when you press the ON button, immediately hold CMD+R until the Apple Logo shows on the screen.

I cant even shut down without a password. I want to pull the power cord.

It only works when booting, which so far you appear not to be able to do. You may have to force-shutdown to boot up again - hold the power key down until the computer goes off (preferable to pulling the power).
However, a long shot... when you get the password request, just hit return. If you never set a password it may accept a blank.
fixed it
Well don't keep us in suspense... how?
