Songs removed from playlist after syncing

I have an iPhone 6 and prefer to mainly use my iPhone to purchase music (rather than using my Mac)

I only connect my iPhone to my laptop once a month, however during my last couple of syncs to my Mac, in many of my playlists that I have created; songs have been removed, yet they are still in my iTunes library, I now have to go back and manually add the songs back into the playlists.

I would like to know how to fix this issue so that I don't have to manually add the songs when I sync my phone and stopped it happening altogether.

iPhone 6, iOS 8.3, null

Hello sYars91,
I understand that you are having issues with losing content when you sync. Let's see if we can sort this out so this doesn't happen in the future.
The first thing that comes to mind is that you might not have the Manually manage music and videos enabled. Take a look at the article below to walk you through how to ensure that this is enabled in iTunes.
Move content from iTunes on your computer to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
