I have the following situation:

In iCloud Photo: 28,409 photos and 107 videos. OK

In iPad: 28409 photos and 107 videos OK

In iPhone 28,409 photos and 107 videos. OK

In MacBook Pro. 23109 photos and 99 videos. I have had the computer connected to internet for almost two weeks and the sync does not occur. very slowly

At this moment it says ( uploading 21166 items ( 16 Gb of 168.9 Gb))

21166 plus 23199 do not add up to 28409???

In iPhoto Preferences I tick “iPhoto Library” and “optimize storage”

My internet connection is Download speed 3.5 mbs and upload 500 kbs.

Any help or suggestions???

Thank you

Arturo

Your mac will first upload all photos it has stored locally to compare to iCloud, and then download the missing photos from iCloud.

For a large Photos Library the initial sync with iCloud may take several days - be prepared for a long wait.
