paste in different direction

I'm copying in Numbers values that are set in going across (horizontal) columns. I'd like to paste those same values going down (vertical) a row. How do I do that?

Hi adri,

In Numbers 3 you can select a table and Menu > Table > Transpose Rows and Columns.

Paste as normal:

Then Transpose:

If the table contains formulas, you will get blue warning triangles. You may need to revise those formulas.

I would copy the values to a new (temporary) table. Then, select all the cells in the temp table and select the menu item "Table > Transpose Rows and Columns":
