Late 2011 MBP BCA wont recognize Windows7 iso disk.

I burned Windows 7 iso image to disk on my MBP late 2001, El Capitan. The files are on the disk when it is opened in Finder, however BCA assistant will not recognize the disk.

I selected the Windows7 iso from my desk top, selected burn image to disk. I also looked under my Disk Utility but there was not a disk burn option as I have read from other posts.

When I insert the disk I burned in a PC, I can open it and select the setup file and it starts a Windows7 install.

Any tips to burn a different way? Do I need to uninstall my current OS for an earlier version with a different disk utility?

Thanks!

MacBook Pro (15-inch Late 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.5), El Capitain
