I understand that you are experiencing an issue with music playback on music you purchased from iTunes on your iPad. We know that issues with purchases can be frustrating, but we are here to help.
To begin troubleshooting, I would suggest deleting that music and downloading it fresh from the Purchased section in Music.

Download your past purchases - Apple Support
If you continue to have an issue after downloading these songs again fresh, I suggest using the information in the next article to report this issue to iTunes support.
