Fitting MBP 15" late -11 logic board in MBP 15" mid-2010

So I got my hands on a mint condition MBP 15" mid-2010 without a logic board. I can buy a MBP 15" late -11 logic board. I know the model number is same A1286 - is the older A1286 (mid-2010) exactly same with A1286 (late -11). Might be a stupid question, but all I need is a confirmation and don't know better place to ask this.
