Motion 3.0.2 doesn't work with El Capitan

I use Final Cut Studio Pro 2, with FCP 6.0.6 and Motion 3.0.2. I recently installed El Capitan, and now I find that Motion 3.0.2 is incompatible with it. Can Motion be upgraded so it works with El Capitan? If so, how do I do this? Thanks.

You can buy the current version(Motion 5) from the app store:

If you use Compressor, your older version will not work on El Cap, so you'll need to also get Compressor 4.


You need to read this KB article about installing current software (FCP-X, Motion 5, Compressor 4) on a system with FCS already installed:
