Logic Pro x 10.2.1 System overload :-(

Hey guys. I upgraded to 10.2.1(I am running Yosemite) from 10.2 and instantly had problems with ANY track running. Basically I can not get more than about a seconds play without it "overloading".

Didn't have any problems with 10.2

I ended up copy and pasting from time machine the 10.2 and all back to the way it was now thank goodness (backups so important!)

Well... obviously I don't want to miss out on the new stuff.

Is there and easy way to know when apple have fixed this.....

Why do they release these upgrades all funky?

If anyone can help me here with info that would be great.

Cheers

Those that know... cannot say because of Non Disclosure Agreements...

...and those that don't know.. don't know and can only guess....

All we can do is wait for the next update but.....

The problem you are seeing is apparently only affecting a very small number of users and in each case so far when the cause has been identified... the cause has been something different...

The most common one being out of date audio/midi drivers and/or 3rd party plugins.... that need to be updated to work correctly under 10.2.1

or.. something running in the background.. that is causing a conflict....

or.. a permissions related issue...
