I recently was forced to upgrade to Configurator 2. I have figured out how to use it...sort of.
Dropping a blueprint on a supervised iPad 2 will not remove apps and profiles that are not in the blueprint.
So changing the ipad from one used in Kindergarten to 5th grade is now a nightmare, having to configure each one individually.
Any suggestions on how to make the blueprint overwrite what is currently on the ipad?

You should be able to highlight all of the connected iPads and then remove profiles on all of them at once, even if some don't have the same profiles (same with apps), you just go through the list and select everything to be removed. That has been how my experience has gone anyway.
